Information technologies lighten many things in all spheres of our everyday life. IT play the great part in the creation of e-medicine, e-justice, e-education projects, which in their turn unite various spheres of life, lighten conditions of life, help to cooperate informatively and efficiently and to create mature information society. Development of humanitarian social projects is one of the priorities of “Penki kontinentai Group”. Understanding the importance of the up-to-date technologies as well as the necessity to make good use of them, in the year 2003 started the companies’ group creating the unique (the first in Lithuania) e-school project. The project is to change the intercourse and information of the school society – teachers, pupils, parents – in essence. “Penki kontinentai” aims at uniting not the schools of Vilnius only but of whole Lithuania.

No specific software or hardware will be needed to use the advantages of the project – it is based on the web sites’ technology. All the users will need is a computer with Internet connection. The teachers will be able to view the week’s schedule, the past lessons, mark the most important subjects, view the list of the pupils with their photos and most important information, view the list of the teachers. All this can be done in several clicks. The pupils will also be able to view the schedules, list of the subjects, their record books, list of the pupils and the teachers; they will also be able to send text of video e-message.

Interactive cooperation and appearance of the school on the Internet significantly precipitates intercommunication of the academic society and gives a chance to take the advantage of untapped opportunities.
